The Marathon Sports Agency is a sales rep firm based in Upstate New York, which has represented sporting goods companies for over 10
years. Until late in 2008, the firm has worked exclusively in the Golf Industry. We have always partnered with companies who make the
highest quality golf clubs predominately geared for the best players in the sport. The highest level of craftsmanship and attention to
detail have always been staples in our requirements for the partners we choose. Our current line up is no exception.
When we select companies to represent, not only are we looking for high end/ high quality manufacturers who are innovative and
technically advanced, but we are also looking for category leaders. In other words, companies who are not a one size fits all, but
companies who have carved out a niche for themselves and are pioneers and/ or leaders in a product category. Our current line up is full
of "winners". Each of these companies has a category Leader, making them true specialty companies. Interestingly enough, several of these
companies are product category leaders for both the avid player and the professional tour player alike. Many of the "Big Boys" in golf do
not seek independent Sales Rep Agencies, so our challenge here was to try to find the right mix of Product lines to be able to fulfill the
needs of both an On course Golf shop Owner (typically a PGA Professional), as well as an Independent Off Course Golf Shop Owner.
Given this set of circumstances, we have been able to round up a nice mix of Niche lines who all fulfill a specific need of both the on course
and off course retailer.

industry - The hybrid revolutionn - and take ownership of that as well. Not only are they the Number one hybrid out of nowhere, this company found
another nice segment to own - Ladies Golf. As the market leaders in Ladies golf clubs, Adams is offering both customizable sets of Irons and woods as
well as pre packaged box sets at virtually every price point. The best part? Adams golf was founded by one of Upstate New Yorks own. Mr. Barney
Adams hails from the Syracuse area, and is still well known in the area.
Keri Golf has formed a unique partnership with Adams Golf. Keri has been making some of the finest golf bags and accessories in ladies golf for a few
years. Keri is basically the Coach purse of Golf Bags. For the discerning lady who is seeking style and a one of a kind, there is not a better alternative.
